RV Sites
Lake Jennings Campground, which is operated by Helix Water District, offers full and partial-hookup sites with easy access. Partial camp sites exclude sewage but contain electric and water hook-ups. Each site is also equipped with a picnic table and fire pit, perfect for cooking delicious campfire s’mores with your loved ones.
There are a variety of campsites where the starting rate begins at $44 for partial and $51 for full-hookup sites. However, rates may be higher on weekends or holidays. You should also make a reservation in advance to guarantee a spot. In addition to RV camping, Lake Jennings offers tent and tipi sites. Quiet hours extend from 9 pm and 7 am.
Things To Do Near Lake Jennings
Boating
Exploring Lake Jennings by boat is an exciting and memorable experience. The campground offers boat rentals onsite, ranging from $10 to $48 per hour, depending on the type of boat. There are kayaks, paddle boats, rowboats, and motorboats available to rent.
Visitors may bring their own boats from home to take out on the lake from the shoreline area. It costs $10 per day for private boat launching.
Fishing
Many tourists flock to Lake Jennings to take advantage of the ample fishing opportunities. The area is known for having the best freshwater fishing in the entire county, with over thirty thousand pounds stocked in the lake every year. There is plenty of fish to see from the docks, from channel catfish to rainbow trout. Guests may want to check out the campground’s Bait and Tackle shop for fishing supplies. Plus, you can cook your catch of the day over the open campfire directly at your RV site.

Hiking

Children may also enjoy partaking in the campground scavenger hunt, which spans the whole facility. Lastly, The Pavilion is known for having strong wi-fi access, making it a popular place for remote workers or students.
Picnicking
Planning an outdoor picnic is a relaxing way to take in Lake Jennings scenery, especially near the area’s beautiful Hermit Cove. Various picnic tables are scattered throughout the campground are, including one at each individual camp site. The general public may also visit Lake Jennings to take advantage of picnicking activities just for the day at an additional rate, which we will discuss below.
Access and Availability
Lake Jennings Campground is open year-round, allowing guests to stop by during RV road trips regardless of the season. Day use passes are available at Lake Jennings for those who do not wish to stay overnight and begin at $4. Your access will include hiking and picnicking throughout the grounds. However, there are additional fees for fishing and boat rentals. Free wi-fi connection is also available throughout the campground facility. Access gates are closed from 5:30 pm to 7:30 am.
